Romance at Dusk

This transferred kinda oddly and definitely lost about 40% quality. But I will keep working on it!!

Awhile back there was an image that was storming social media of an elephant gifting another with flowers. When I saw it on my "we heart it" page, I was instantly inspired and began to redraw it in my own image. I added a colourful sky meant to look like a sunset, and changed the females trunk to look as though she was taking the flowers from the male. I then drew my own flowers. The sky was painted using water colour and the rest was done with pencil crayon. Then edited with Aviary to reduce fade of colours. I was really pleased with how it turned out with the exception that the flowers lost some of their realism. I'm trying to draw more animals, and this was one of my first attempts. So hopefully more to come!
